Seeking psychiatric treatment services for a child or adolescent can be a difficult step. Many parents find themselves searching for answers about what they need and how to get it. At Mercy Behavioral Health, we strive to make the experience as positive and seamless as possible.
Our multidisciplinary staff approach offers several dimensions of care. Dr. Sasha Khosravi is a board-certified child and adolescent psychiatrist and serves as the medical director for our hospital-based programs. Our team consists of nurses, social workers, case managers, psychiatric technicians and substance abuse counselors. These members share a common goal of identifying your child’s needs, defining treatment plans and offering the best approach in the least restrictive manner possible. Our services include these options:
* Partial hospitalization program: This is a structured therapeutic setting for children and adolescents, who attend a daytime treatment program and go home every evening.
* Inpatient hospitalization: This level of care offers intensive treatment in a 24-hour, secure care environment.
* Adolescent chemical dependency treatment: This is an outpatient program facilitated four evenings per week by the staff from the Mercy First Step Program.
Mercy Behavioral Health services are available to all children and families, to provide comprehensive assessments and treatments as indicated. For more information or to access services, 24 hours a day, call the Mercy Behavioral Health Help Center.
